HARDSCRABBLE DAY PARADE 2017– MARDI GRAS THEME
This year’s parade is celebrating our 40th anniversary! Come on out and be a part of the vibrant communities that make Red Hook’s Town and Village history, by attending our annual Hardscrabble Day festivities.
Each year is an opportunity for us to show our many visitors, families, and friends what makes Red Hook so special to learn and live here. This year on September 16th the Hardscrabble Committee hired two New Orleans Bands. With that comes a Mardi Gras theme for this years’ annual parade. Get those masks and beads out and join the parade! Make your float look extra colorful. 40 years is a wonderful milestone for our annual celebration. Please spend some extra time to make this a big-time fun event!
The parade starts at 4:30 p.m. at the Linden Avenue Middle School. We need to make sure that we include everyone, so the lineup begins at 3:30 p.m.
